Navigation at Limerick

Cover: Our cover photo shows the Limerick moorings. At the bottom, an excavator removes the bund that protected the works.
Above it are the buoys that mark the weir. Above that, to the right, are the Custom House Quay moorings and the Hunt Museum.
On the Abbey River, from bottom to top: the footbridge to the Potato Market on the left, Mathew Bridge, the pontoons at Barrington's Hospital, Baal's Bridge, with the Abbey Bridge just visible beyond it. The Abbey River goes to the left from that point, where the old canal joins the river.
